Thinking about running for your local council? Candidate information sessions are available to those considering running for the 2022 municipal elections.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) has organized a free presentation by the local Clerks of Middlesex County on Monday, April 4th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held via Zoom (Register Here). This free session will highlight what candidates should know about the Municipal Elections Act, including campaign finances, and highlight the roles and responsibilities of council and committee members.

The Municipality of North Middlesex is offering an in-person viewing session of the live-streamed presentation at the North Middlesex Council Chambers (229 Main St, Parkhill, ON). Any questions during the presentation can still be answered by Ministry Staff through the electronic meeting process with this venue. North Middlesex Election Staff will also be available to answer questions specific to North Middlesex’s election. Doors will open at 4:30 pm.

Should you have any questions please contact the Clerk’s Department.
