Business Retention and Expansion

As part of North Middlesex's regular outreach to business, we conduct regular Business Retention and Expansion services (BR+E).  This service allows your business to provide regular feedback to the municipality to let us know how we can make doing business easier.  This is also an opportunity for us to let you know about programs and funding that might help your business grow.

Our BR+E program operates on a rotating basis but we are happy to meet with you anytime to discuss your business needs.  Please call or email the Economic Development Officer to set up a time that works for you.

Grants and Loan Programs

Whether your looking for a grant or a loan, let us keep you up to date on sources of financing and help you in your application process.

In addition to traditional sources of financing (banks and credit unions), there are also a variety of sources of funding that are available to businesses and entrepreneurs at every stage.  Here are just a few:

Business Support and Workshops

We strive to provide businesses with timely and interesting opportunities to grow their knowledge, networks and ultimately their business.  We are excited to be able to offer exciting workshops on topics such as social media, value added agriculture development and much more starting Winter 2016-17.  Check back or connect with us via Facebook or Twitter to ensure that you don't miss out!

Investment Attraction

We know that when it comes to business decisions, cost is a critical factor.  That's why we are pleased to offer businesses  a competitive and cost effective option to establish operations. Our development charges are competitive and undergo regular reviews to ensure that we are offering the best value to investors and developers.  Our low housing costs mean that our employees or families can enjoy more for less.

 Site Selection

Situated in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, North Middlesex offers close proximity to the transportation corridor that services a number of North America's biggest markets.  The 400 series highway brings your products to the Greater Toronto Area.  Two border crossings ensure that you can get your goods to the lucrative U.S. markets and major urban centres in New York, Boston and Chicago.
