The Municipality of North Middlesex has become aware of ongoing scams involving fraudulent emails that request additional payments or fees in connection with planning applications. Please be advised that North Middlesex or Middlesex County only requires the payment of a filing fee when an application is submitted. North Middlesex or Middlesex County will not contact parties to request additional fees or funds as part of the application process.

If you have received a suspicious message, do not click any links or provide personal information.

Report the incident to the local police or contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre online or by calling 1-888-495-8501.
