The Municipality of North Middlesex is looking for a School Crossing Guard. The position is required to work in line with the school schedule and is expected to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 9:00am as well as from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Preferred:
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to walk children safely across streets.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry signage.
• Visual and hearing ability to recognize traffic from a safe distance (300 feet).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a condition of employment, the incumbent must provide a successful vulnerable person screening and background check.
