Are you a farmer, agricultural business owner or resident interested in learning about current trends in innovation in the agricultural sector?

If so, are you interested in learning more about resources that are available to you, listening to speakers and networking with local members of the agricultural community?

Don't miss this opportunity to hear and exchange ideas at the North Middlesex Innovation in Agriculture event.

The Municipality of North Middlesex is inviting local farmers and agricultural business owners from the region to learn about the latest innovations businesses are implementing to stay competitive in today’s economy.

We are excited to present innovative, agriculturally-focused speakers from the region who are currently thinking outside of the box with respect to emerging trends and new technologies to share new insights in their fields. An important priority identified in our Economic Development Strategy is to support local farmers and agricultural business owners. We are hoping information presented at this event and the networking opportunity following will be a valuable step towards meeting the needs of this sector in our municipality.

Join us for a consultative meeting with Ailsa Craig residents about Huron Shores Area Transit and Route 4 Grand Bend to Strathroy via Parkhill and Ailsa Craig.

Huron Shores Area Transit and the Municipality of North Middlesex are holding two public meetings to discuss the transit agency’s Route 4, which travels from Grand Bend to Strathroy via Parkhill and Ailsa Craig. The public meetings take place Tuesday, September 12 at the North Middlesex Community Centre and Wednesday, September 13 at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre, both at 7 pm.

The purpose of these meetings is to receive feedback from residents who take the bus and those who don’t to assess the usefulness of the current Route 4 schedule and stops that were implemented in February 2022.

The public meetings are an important step in gathering residents’ thoughts, comments, questions and suggestions about local public transit and for HSAT staff to answer residents’ questions about HSAT’s capabilities to serve the community. Depending on the feedback received, changes could be implemented quickly.
