To patrol the roads within the Municipality checking for conditions (such as snow and/or ice accumulation) according to the minimum standards outlined in the Minimum
Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways. Responsible for working directly with the Manager of Public Works and calling in staff when/where required.

Education/Experience/Training
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent;
- Familiarity with construction equipment and materials; and
- You must possess and maintain a valid Class DZ license.
Technical Skills
- Experience using snow removal equipment (plow and wing);
- Must have a demonstrated ability to deal with the public in a polite and courteous
manner; and
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and as a member
of a team.
Other Requirements
- As a condition of employment, the incumbent must provide a Clean Driver’s Abstract
