The Parks / Cemetery Attendant is responsible for supporting the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the Municipality’s parks, recreation facilities, and cemeteries. Reporting to the Manager of Recreation and Facilities, this role contributes
Preferred Experience
3–6 months of progressive experience is considered an asset in one or more of the following areas:
- Small equipment operation
- Landscape maintenance equipment operation
- Landscaping and turf maintenance
- Janitorial or custodial duties
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, municipal policies, departmental procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
Other Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence in good standing
- Ability to lift up to 22 kg (50 lbs) (e.g., garbage bags, small engine equipment)
