The Municipality of North Middlesex is pleased to announce the appointment of Samuel Shannon as Interim Chief Administrative Officer.
Samuel officially stepped into the role following the retirement of Carolyn Tripp and Council’s meeting on April 22. He will serve as Interim CAO while Council works through the long-term hiring process. Many residents may already know Samuel from his work as Director of Infrastructure and Operations, where he has played an important role in several key municipal initiatives and has shown strong leadership and a collaborative approach throughout. Working alongside the Senior Management Team, Samuel will continue to support the progress and ongoing work across the Municipality.
Mayor Brian Ropp expressed confidence in the appointment, with the support of the Senior Management Team, highlighting Samuel’s leadership and his positive working relationships with both Council and staff. With extensive municipal experience and a solid understanding of the community, Samuel brings a sense of continuity and stability to the Municipality’s administration.
“I am extremely humbled, excited, and honoured to be appointed Interim CAO,” said Samuel. “North Middlesex continues to grow, and I feel grateful to be part of that progress with the support of the strong team we have in-place.”
Please join us in congratulating Samuel as he takes on this important role and helps guide North Middlesex forward with the support of the Senior Management Team.
