Take notice that an open informal meeting is planned to review the Engineer’s Proposal for drainage work and proposed sewer works as part of the Laurens Drain. Subsequently the Municipality plans to construct this proposed municipal drain to improve the quality and reliability of your storm water conveyance system.

The main purpose of the Weed Control Act, R.S.O. 1990 is to reduce the impact of noxious weeds on the industries to agriculture and horticulture. Primarily this Act applies to agricultural and horticultural lands that generate income or other benefits to agriculture, this excludes lawns, gardens, and private areas for personal enjoyment and leisure.

10MAR17 ROBBERY SUS1The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is currently investigating a robbery at a credit union on Parkhill Main Street, in North Middlesex, Ontario. On March 6, 2017, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a lone male suspect entered the credit union, made demands to an employee, and displayed a weapon. The suspect fled the credit union with an undisclosed amount of currency. There were no injuries in this incident. The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot.
