Don Shipway

Don is a proud, lifelong resident of the Municipality of North Middlesex. He resides in the village of Ailsa Craig with his wife Jean. Don & Jean have a daughter Donna, a son Mark whose wife is Terry and a son Bill whose wife is Chenny. Don & Jean are the proud Grandparents of seven and Great Grandparents of two.

Don served on the Village of Ailsa Craig Council for twenty-seven years, twenty of those as Reeve. His municipal time also consisted of 20 years of service on Middlesex County Council.

Besides Municipal Government, Don worked for the Ministry of Transport for thirty-five years retiring as Patrol Supervisor. Don also operated a trucking and backhoe business for many years.

Don's hobbies include building, working on and racing Open Wheeled race cars with his grandsons.

As Mayor Don looks forward to tirelessly serving the people of North Middlesex.
