In order to meet the
mailing deadlines under the Planning Act, it is recommended
that your application be submitted well in advance of your
project to ensure that it is placed on the next available
agenda for consideration.
Applications to sever land and minor variances
are considered by Committee of Adjustment and decisions are generally made that night.
Applications for Official Plan and Zoning
By-law Amendments are considered at the Public Meeting by Council. Recommendations are generally made
that night and may be carried forward to the next regular council
meeting agenda for formal adoption.

The above fees are deposits submitted with the
applications, however, there may be a refund depending on the
expenses incurred to process the applications. **
NEW FEE EFFECTIVE MARCH 8, 2005** IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A
LOCAL OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND ARE SUCCESSFUL WITH
THE LOCAL ADOPTION - AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $1,000.00 WILL
BE REQUIRED TO FORWARD THIS TO THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX
(APPROVAL AUTHORITY) FOR THEIR CONSIDERATION
